This is a pretty amazing guitar. The 8 strings are sent out of 2 outputs, 4 on each side, so I use a bass amp for the F#, B, E, A, and a guitar amp for the D, G, B, and E. Each side is active with Bass, Mid, and Treble Controls, and each side has a blend knob to add in the piezo pickups. There is a 3 way pickup selector for each side for the two armstrong humbuckers, and then a 3 way switch for the 4 pickups (2 on each side) to go between, Series humbucker, parallel humbucker, and single coil. There is a switch to make it all go to 1 output if I only want to use one amp.
