When L.A.-based outfit Isis came to New York’s Irving Plaza to play a show on their 10th Anniversary mini tour (with Oxbow and 27 supporting), MetalKult caught up with guitarist/singer Aaron Turner and guitarist Mike Gallagher for a little gear tour.

Below, check out Turner and Gallagher as they show the gear they use to create Isis’ progressive mix of droney, doom metal.

    this is awesome. ISIS is one of my favorite bands and it’s pretty cool to see how they get their sound, especially from such a simple setup.

    ISIS rock. nothing but good stuff from them. if you think F#,F#,B,e,g#,c# and B, F#, B, e, g#, c# are crazy, try DGDgbe. thats what i use. i definitely gotta get a dd6 and rv3 after seeing this.
