well, just a note: the line up to these Hate Eternal Live clips, does not include Alex Webster.
otherwise, congratulations, great quality, both video and audio, and its always nice to see some exclusive material, not from a “cell phone camera”
    cheers from Brasil

They couldn’t even be roadies for a real metal band, i e Sabbath , Priest , Maiden!

The shit that passes as metal today is one bad fucking JOKE!!!!

nice performance, but hate eternal’s new record its not as good as I, Monarch and Randy Pyro should have stayed in the band, the bassist of the current line up is too lame of course forgetting the fact that alex webster did the bass on this record but he cant tour with hate eternal

Rutan is a clown…looks like a fool trying to headbang and it all just seems so contrived and desperate…desperate to be death metal and growl like a bitch…3rd rate death metal at best…and though Rutan probably has wet dreams every night about it…He is, not now, nor ever will be, even close to the skill, phrasing, dexterity, and over guitar-manship of the master…Trey Azagthoth (and I know Morbid Angel has been off the map for a while now, but that is not a valid argument…’cos Morbid Angel wrote the fukin book on this shit)

I’m not a huge Hate Eternal fan, but to the guy who said to “Take Some Lessons”.. I’d like to see you play one Hate Eternal song on ANY instrument.

It might not be the most dynamic music, but they are extremely talented.. not my cup of tea, really.. but I am a HUGE fan of Derek Roddy, as he is one of the best drummers out there.

Alex webster - ’nuff said. Rutan is good. Not fantastic, but solid! I couldn’t do better, so I won’t talk shit.

Fury & Flames is a metal masterpiece. I understand if you don’t like this type of music but I have to agree with eviserated said. It’s easy to sit back and talk trash. To say they need lessons is laughable due to the fact that Rutan and Kelley go way back to Ripping Corpse days, over 20 years, when Death Metal was in it’s infancy, I hardly think they need lessons. I’m also impressed that they never sold out their fans or compromised their underground roots.

why is rutan playing all of these horrendous noisy bullshit leads when he has on of the best guitarist in metal standing next to him. shaune motherfukin kelly AKA ghost hands. rutan doesn’t hold a candle to him. very odd. RIPPING CORPSE REUNION NOW !!!!!!! let’s get shaune, scott, brandon and bizzigotti back together NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!

Fury & Flames is a death metal masterpiece. I have to agree with eviserated, it’s easy to talk trash. The comment about HE needing lessons is laughable since Rutan and Kelley have been playing for over 20 years, first together in Ripping Corpse when death metal was in it’s infancy in the late 80’s then on to other groups i.e Morbid Angel, Dim Mak. What impresses me is they never sold out their true fans or compromised their underground roots.

Fury & flames blasted me into oblivion. I got the chance to see them at MetalFest in Worchester MA and all I can say is the show was everything I hoped it would be. Shaune Kelley is the most amazing guitar player I’ve ever seen, he can shred a neck with such extreme velocity I barely saw his fingers touch the frets. Nice to see others remember Ripping Corpse, they were death metal legends on the East Coast - Dreaming With The Dead a particular fav.

this is a cool video i appreciate the good quality video!Derrick Roddy is a hell lot better than their new drummer, but the new guy does a decent job…I was pissed off when I saw them live and I didnt see them play their best song ever “Victorious Reign” thats one of my favorites! STFU haters of death metal! Erik Rutan is the shit hes such a talented person he can record great albums and shred and growl like a demon from hell all at the same time! Erik’s vocals on the new album were freaking amazing! I was blown away by the demonic vocals on Bringer of Storms, although the sound and audio on album sounded just a tad bit muddy, but i dont know shit about recording music so anyways hate eternal fans dont get pissed off at my comments…i do know that erik records with analog alot for a more raw sounding tone….

Randy Piro left the band to go and get his degree in college so I have deep respect for him, but yeah randy was freaking awesome he did an amazing job on backup vocals and he was really cool and hilarious, but alex webster is the shit, but this session bassist isnt bad hes pretty good hes the bassist from Pyrexia….AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION DUMB ASS WHO SAID THEY NEED LESSONS BLACK SABBATH ISNT ACTUALLY TECHNICALLY CONSIDERED METAL MAN! THEY WERE HEAVY FOR THEIR TIME BUT THEY ARE NOT METAL!!! I aint saying they suck but dont say shit if you cant respect and realize that nothing is heavier than black or death metal its the best music around and its a fact!LONG LIVE HATE ETERNAL GLAD TO SEE THEYRE BACK AND I WISH DERICK RODDY WAS STILL IN THE BAND HE IS AMAZING!!!

Thanks for the great video quality. People come and go from groups, happens all the time for one reason or another. We all have our favorites and each and everyone has their own unique talent. Some I like some I don’t and the genre of black or death metal is not for everyone and so misunderstood, it’s definately an acquired taste. Took me a few listens to this new Cd to pick up on all the subtle nuances of those screaming guitar duo’s, but man when I did it was like a metal symphony, perfectly technical. I especially loved how the disc ended, after all the complexity and chaos throughout was definately the calm after the storm. Thanks for a fantastic blend of mayhem and chaos Hate Eternal.

What slop! Possibly the worst bass drum tone I’ve ever heard. Vocals (if you can call them that) just suck. The guitar parts are childish and the tone is mush and the playing is sloppy at best. The bass can’t be heard in the mix. The bands stage presence is a joke. All three features songs sound in the same key, have the same tempo and have the same arrangement. Thus all sound the same. They should go back and finish their guitar lessons. I can sum them up with two words….Sucky and Boring!

Hate Eternal have been my favorite band for some time. It is not Erik Rutan’s intention to craft metal that is accessible or catchy in any sense. The people who compare this band to bands like iron maiden need to stop and realize that making such comparisons is irrelevant because Hate Eternal creates albums under a different sub genre of metal during a different time period. If you like NWOBHM or old school heavy metal, more power to you, but this stuff is fundamentally different. The production is intentionally muddy and abrasive and the drums intentionally manic to convey the emotions Rutan was feeling following the loss of Jared Anderson, the bass master behind Internecine and an ex-member of Ripping Corpse. If you were a death metal artist, had the skill people and production tools to create a death metal album, and your dear friend had just died, what would you do?

  25. on June 28th, 2008 at 8:59 pm

Fury album is my #1 of 2008. Ive been hooked on this cd since it came out.I was at BB Kings show and I cant tell you how happy I was. Too see all these assholes talking shit about them is blowing my mind. I bet most of them #1)dont own the allbum and #2) if they did then they probably didnt like it from the start and just chose to talk shit because is easier.

If youre a Morbid Angel/Hate Eternal fan how could you possibly thrash this band? unbelievable to me….one of the main reasons I cant stand most of these forums.

why is shaune (ghost hands) kelly no playing lead. i don’t think erik realizes he has one of the best guitarist ever to play extreme metal standing next to him. everything is noisy.

    whatever…………………
