I don't think so... Immortal play just true metal, but their music isn't true black. I think it's mix of thrash and heavy metal with black arrangements=)

That was really great :D It helps a lot when you're trying to learn how to play their songs! It's nice to see the "right" way to play it. Which amps and effects do Bjørn and Jesper use to get this incredible raw and nice tone?

Well, another special find coverage/this one more indepth on the haunting Black Metaller's bassist Seidermann and guitarist Archeon of 1349 fame. I found this interview & the highly in-spirited 1349 pub crawl Interview w/Archeon & Seidermann giving the GUITAR WORLD MetalKult.com Editor/Jimmy Hubbard a grand tour of their home Country NORWAY's finest Pubs & Concert Venues which was awesome to watch...'as this one is to see but it's more indepth and a broader insight on their darkly music which is hauntenly complex & chill-frost biting. Although Black & Death Metal extreme music in general is very controversial - We "all" have a right to our views rather we believe in Christ or unbeliveth in Christ, we're an pretty awkward heavy load "we" Earth Citizens of this WORLD. "I just hope we don't harm/hurt the other 'cause you believe "in this" and one believes "in that"...'it's a "pain" to say the least." My heart goes out to Seidermann/his struggles when he dated a Christian girl & her friends were totally against him/wanting her to breakup with him...'that's very heavy trial situration there and pity that they were force to break up...'Or did they. "Anyway, I truelly digg/love this indepth Coverage on the Master Black Metaller's "1349" guitarist Archeon & bassist Seidermann (cool trimmed hair-style..'suits you awesomely) their heavy down to Earth people/and musicians as are the other two 1349 hellriser's Ravn-Vocals & Frost-Drums (also of Satyricon fame) that makes this band a solidified Hell-Fire unit. All the best to them & look forward to 1349 newest haunting 'blazing music endeavor's for the future. Peace!
